Rose and Cherub get to know each other better after she runs into him on her way home. Cherub tells Rose that his mother was part demon and that he has inherited her visions. Cherub and Rose make plans to meet at the Copper the next night. After Cherub leaves, Rose spots a vampire in a uniform that looks similar to a nazi. The Slayer and the vampire fight. Once the vampire realizes the girl is stronger than he was expecting, he takes off.
Tuck, the vampire, discovers a body with a slashed throat. He finds out after investigating that the man was Mr. Rogers, who was known to be a child molester around town. He looks around town for some evil doers. He goes to the Hog, a local biker bar where he steals some biker clothes and listens for information.
The next day at school, Rose, Scrapper, and Oliver find out about the murder. Miss Winterborne doesn't know if it is supernatural or not, but she felt the gang should look into it. Rose told her about the strange vampire and the watcher says she will investigate it. Oliver had run into the Goths at lunch, but he was not into their apology. He refuses their attempts to become friends again.
That night Rose meets Cherub at the Copper. Oliver takes his sweet time getting ready. Scrapper stakes out a park thinking either a murderer or a gay guy would be there. He also very conspicuously asked a cop some questions about the murder. The guys end up joining Cherub and Rose at the club. Oliver and Scrapper of course give them a hard time. Scrapper was particularly interested if his penis was demonic.
Rose soon feels the presence of a vampire and soon realizes that Nail is watching them. Scrapper smells his cologne and remembers it from the cemetery when they fought Morgara. He goes straight to Nail and ends up talking about demon penises. Nail goes up to the table and it is obvious something is going on between Nail and Rose. Scottie and Oliver watch the fireworks, while making snide comments. Nail and Cherub end up coming to blows after Nail gleefully antagonizes his rival. Rose separates them and Cherub leaves. Oliver wonders why the slayer is picking the guy who tried to kill them over the guy who has routinely helped them. Rose ends up sneaking out after she is embarrassed.
After a fruitless investigation at the Hog, Tuck goes to the Copper where he sees the fight between the two suitors. He sees the slayer and decides to duck out. He finds another body and checks the body. The victim this time is Mr. Higgins. Tuck goes to investigate at the Higgins home. He finds Higgins' wife there. He talks to her and realizes that she has been abused by her husband. Tuck decides to follow Cherub, but soon runs into Nail and some of his minions. Tuck fights his way past them barely after being hurt and flees into the cemetery, where he promptly runs into the Slayer. Cherub, having seen the fight between the vampires, tries to stop Rose. But it was too late. Rose dusted the vampire. As he turned to dust he said, "The town is in danger." Afterwards, Rose and Cherub patrol together.
The next day, Rose finds out from Oliver there was another murder. She also reports to Miss Winterborne that she dusted Tuck. Miss Winterborne was bit put off that he was already dusted after she spent all night researching. Rose got upset and hung up on her. Miss Winterborne goes to Rose and takes her out for ice cream. She talks to the slayer about her problems. They wonder if Tuck was the murderer.
